Sustainable Development Goals

We believe in the importance of achieving the sustainability goals set out by the United Nations. Specifically, we are committed to reducing poverty, promoting food security, supporting good health and wellbeing, providing quality education, promoting decent work and economic growth, encouraging responsible consumption and production, and preserving life on Earth.

We recognise that these goals are interconnected and that progress in one area can have a positive impact on others. We are dedicated to implementing strategies that will help us achieve these goals in a way that is both responsible and sustainable in the long term.

Environment

Sustainability drives our business. Our responsibility extends to safeguarding the environment for our planet’s future. We infuse sustainable practices across our value chain, benefiting both nature and our economic objectives. Measures include adopting renewable energy like solar power in our facilities, treating wastewater, and educating employees about energy efficiency and waste reduction. We are also involved in initiatives that support planting trees and wildlife conservation and fencing projects that preserve water towers.

We are proud of the progress we made, but we know that there’s more work to be done and we are committed to leading the way in sustainable food production.
